Headteacher Welcome

Welcome to our Pennine View school website – we hope you will enjoy your visit and gain a greater understanding of the learning and teaching at our school.

Pennine View School is committed to and passionate about the learning and progress of all our pupils. Staff and Governors have high aspirations, and we aim to provide high quality, relevant and balanced education for all our pupils that focusses on individual, personal and academic achievement.

We are extremely proud of the achievements of all our pupils and staff. Our school motto is ‘learn… enjoy… achieve’ and we encourage all members of our school community to set high standards in whatever they do and always strive to be the best they can be.

Pennine View School provides learning for 137 pupils across the Doncaster area and from our neighbouring local authorities. Each pupils’ needs are carefully and sensitively addressed, within the context of a well-developed curriculum.

Pupils who join the school often have a wide range of different needs and they bring with them a wonderful mix of interests and personalities. Pupils begin their journey at Year 3 and it’s always a pleasure to see how they grow into confident and responsible young adults as they leave our care at Year 11. We take pride in our transition work to ensure that each young person continues to progress and learn following their time at Pennine View.

Pupils at Pennine View School are given the very best support to ensure that they gain the most from the educational experiences offered. Pennine View staff work in partnership with families and the wider professional community to achieve aspirational goals. This creates a personalised pathway which is fun, challenging and purposeful.

Our website will provide you with a valuable insight into everyday life within the school, additional activities and special events that highlight our work – we hope you’ll explore and enjoy!

If you want to find out more, please don’t hesitate to contact us or arrange a visit.

Many thanks,
