Level 2 Teaching Assistant
Position: Teaching Assistant
Salary: Grade 5 £16,237 – £16,893 pro rata (Term Time only)
Location: Pennine View School
Contract type: Permanent posts and Temporary posts until 31st August 2023
Contract type: Full-time and Part-time available
Closing date: Wednesday 8th June at noon
Interview date: Wednesday 15th June and Thursday 16th June
What we are looking for
- Experience of supporting pupils with special educational needs
- Knowledge, skills and understanding of how to positively support pupil difficulties
- The skills to place pupil learning at the centre of all your practice
- The ability to make sound judgements on attainment & progress of pupils, assess and celebrate in their success.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to enthuse and motivate others
- Experience of delivering a diverse package of learning & pastoral support to pupils
- Ability to set appropriate and challenging targets for yourself and others
- Ability to make and take decisions both individually and as part of a team
- Ability to contribute to and share quality practice with other staff
- Commitment to partnership between staff, parents and pupils
- Grade C or above in both English & Maths GCSE or equivalent
